HINCE Mood Enhancer Lip Glow Review - My Honest, Unpaid Review
As a lip balm fan who loves colorless, very dry lip balms, I’ve tried many different brands, but this was actually my first time using Hince lip balm. I first came across Hince as a lip gloss brand, and it’s known for its beautifully pigmented products. Let's review Hince - Mood Enhancer Lip Glow, which applies very smoothly.
1. Purchase location: 7.7 euros as of the current date on Stylevana EU. It was a bit cheaper than other products, so I decided to buy it. At Stylvevana, you can also buy other Hince products at affordable prices, and the delivery took about two weeks.
2. Main Ingredients
The first ingredient is Diisostearyl Malate, which serves as an important base component of the product. It creates the slippery texture and shine of a lip balm. The second ingredient, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, provides moisturizing hydration to the lip balm. Next, Jojoba Oil + Sweet Almond Oil + Shea Butter will soften dry lips. The final active ingredient is Tocopheryl Acetate, a vitamin E derivative used for antioxidant purposes.
3. Texture
If you try the Hince color lip balm, you’ll see that it has a really smooth texture. It feels soft even when applied to the back of the hand, and it also applies very smoothly to the lips. I think this might be the first important point for people with dry lips I also used to apply Nivea products without color separately, but I was disappointed that they didn’t match my lip color, so now that Hince has a texture similar to Nivea’s, I buy about two Hince products and carry them in every bag.
4. Honest Review
Hince - Mood Enhancer Lip Glow comes in seven shades: Memories, Dear Rose, Pleasure, Start Over, Impassioned, Let Me Dew, and Chill Out, and I chose the shade LW002 Dear Rose from them. Honestly, the color payoff was darker than I expected, and it didn’t brighten my cool-toned face as vividly as I hoped. I thought it was similar to the color of my dark lips, so I decided that next time I should choose a slightly brighter shade. However, I liked the smooth application so much that I still felt I should repurchase it next time, and I also liked the clean white design. The expiration date was also until March 19, 2028, so it was plenty of time. Considering both color payoff and application, my overall score is 4 out of 5. Considering the price as well, it might deserve a higher rating, but for now, I strongly recommend it to anyone who values moisture and smooth application above all else.
